Block Block, Orkut & GTalk

Ha ha ha
finally the inevitable end has come, Orkut and Gtalk has been blocked in hostel.

This is under suspicion for a long time, when they had a test run few days back, but i have to appreciate the fact that my download speeds has increased from 110Kbps to 160Kbps, now more downloads in less time.
those who are still thinking of how fast the speeds would be, i can download about 4GB of stuff in about 7Hrs.

But i should really appreciate the time chosen by the Network Admin to block websites, 3-days before exam, no one had the time or energy to complain, but the sad part is that blocking is also based on keywords, i cant event search for "sensex" in google, WTF?

anyways i always believe that "where there is will there is a way", so i had the will now i have the way [to access Orkut/GTalk or what ever], a bit painful but it works
now take a pencil and write down the steps (Don't expect me to give all details, there is always fun in digging thro')

1. Intall "the" browser (all those using IE , press ctrl+d now ) [take back the web]
2. now install, foxy from FoxyTunes and Proxy from Proxy
3. find a anonymizer service
4. configure foxy to use anonymizer for blocked sites..

voila, you are done...
