i used to wonder, why it still rains in india(in some sense the world too), Kali has taken everything into control(i really hate paritchithu maharaja) poverty, exploitation of people, rich and powerful suppress the poor and needy,
These are the three incidents that i have seen in past few months, has made me realize why it rains and how even i can bring rains. i leave the conclusion to you
in erode – chennai Kovai Express, two kids aged less then 12 the boy is the elder one and the girl will be about 8 years old, the boy is physically challenged and they are begging in that train, many people gave them alms, few choose not to, after some time they took a place in crowded compartment and rested for sometime, at the same time a group of young men found a two rupee coin on the floor of the compartment, they unanimously decided to give it to those kids, they asked that girl to come and pick that coin, to everyones surprise the girl didn't and that boy insisted her not to take, everyones(who are observing that situation) request was turned down, when asked for the reason that boy replied, “even though we beg, its completely wrong to take others belongings”. WTF!!, the whole world is busy in taking others opportunities in the name of competition but here a poor boy who has to beg for his bread has such a wise wisdom against “taking” others processions, the only thing that i could do at that time is to pray god(did he/she exist?) to give those kids a “life”.
In chennai again, i visited “kradi” and Co and stayed in their place for 4 damn days, one fine Sunday morning i, kradi and kavin went out for breakfast and while returning i saw a tender coconut vendor, due to my determination of making kradi pay as much as possible for my food, i bugged him to get one for me, as a matter of fact he was happy(?) to do so, we asked for the one with more water and less coconut, to try our luck we decided to cut it open for coconut and we had a thin layer of it, when kavin gave his coconut to open his,the vendor(a lady) put her knife hard and the coconut flew away and ended up in sand, we decided to walk away since we asked for coconut with water so the chance of coconut in it is very less, but that lady apologized for that incident and gave one more coconut for FREE!!, WTF!!,Mediocre but Arrogant(read MBA) people will say it as "customer satisfaction", "business tactics" or whatever, but a poor uneducated coconut vendor took us all by a surprise of her thought of how customer should not feel dejected by her fault(should i start a business, i'll keep her actions in mind), i feel that its more of love or concern towards fellow human being rather than a business strategy.
In coimbatore, we(vijay, pranav, sagar, nikhil & me) went on a trip to my home followed by some road roaming, we went to velliangiri foot hills and were returning to coimbatore & we wnated to go to mettupalayam, we didn't know the way and were asking for directions from several people , of which one person asked us to follow him (WTF!!, a ford ikon following Tvs 50),anyways we thought "since he is on his way he asked us to follow", after some distance he stopped and said “take this right and you are on the way” and “Turned back” towards his way, What the... we realized that he traveled just to show us the way, there is no need for him to do this, a simple sentence like “go straight take the second right” would had been sufficient, but something inside him said that these people are new to this place and they are required to be shown the correct point, i think not only his helping tendency but also his concern towards fellow human begins has created an impression in us.
But now comes the irony, event though all the three incidents took place in tamilnadu and it “never” rains here.. he he he.....
